It feels more like editing a JPG (which isn't a bad thing), but I feel like it can't offer me what a raw file would do (in case of white balance, colour adjustments, etc. Of course, I could simply first edit the image (with no color or exposure adjustments done in Lightroom) in Photoshop, remove the stuff I don't want and then edit it in Lightroom, but the problem with this is also, that editing a PSD file doesn't feel like editing a raw file to me. Simply put, Lightroom is a raw image processing application that combines the the raw engine of Adobe Camera Raw, with all of the organizational tools of. I can't make any readjustments like I would want to. The imported PSD file in Lightroom has reset all the sliders (so they are value 0) and my edits are irreversible applied to the image. So far so good.My problem with this is, that the workflow feels not really optimized. If I then save the image, a PSD file will be created, imported into lightroom and stacked on top of the chosen image.

What is the best workflow order for this? I would normally edit the image in photoshop first (white balance, exposure, sharpness, etc.) and then I would right click on it, choose "Edit in Photoshop" and remove the building with for example content aware fill. The simple spot tool of Lightroom isn't powerful enough to do this good, so I'd need Photoshop for that.
